Document Attestation

 

Depending on the country you have applied to, you will very likely need to have certain documents attested in order for the employer to process your work visa.

 

Typical examples of these documents are:

  1. Qualifications
  2. Police Clearance
  3. Marriage Certificate
  4. Children’s full  Birth Certificate

 

In brief, the process of attesting documents is as follows:

 

In order for documents to be attested they have to go to one or more of the following places:

  • Notary Public and the High Court
  • Department of Basic Education as well as Umalusi
  • SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority)
  • HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa)
  • DIRCO
  • The Relevant Embassy / Consulate
  • All Degrees to be attested needs to be accompanied by a letter from SAQA

Attestation Procedure & Requirements

 

  1. You will receive a formal quotation via email.
  2. Once payment has been received, you need courier original documents to the following address via Postnet.
